Al-Buraq Wall:The Western Wall of al-Aqsa: Report of the international Commission appointed by the British Government in 1930 and approved by the Council of the League of Nations in 1931

This new publication of a document of great historical importance is in Arabic and English.  The Commission stated in the Conclusion of its findings that "To the Moslems belong the sole ownership of, and the sole proprietary right to, the Western Wall, seeing that it forms an integral part of al-Haram al-Sherif area, which is a Waqf property. To the Moslems there also belongs the ownership of the Pavement in front of the Wall and the adjacent so-called Moghrabi (Moroccan) Quarter opposite the Wall, in as much as the last-mentioned property was made Waqf under Moslem Sharia Law, it being dedicated to charitable purposes".
