The Prestiges

was presented so far to two prominent figures, the first in 2003 and the second in 2005.  These were as follows:
 

In 2003 ISRA decided to present the first Prize to Shaikh Ra'id Salah for his outstanding work in al-Aqsa Mosque.

In 2005 ISRA decided to present this prestige award to Professor Abd al-Fattah El-Awaisi for his outstanding achievements in the field of Islamicjerusalem Studies.  As he was the founder of this new field of Inquiry and the first chair in Islamic Jerusalem Studies.
